Your safety and comfort matter to us

SkyPark is an IBCCES Certified Autism Center. As we learn and grow, we are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences for every visitor.

Guest parking

Guests with a state-issued disabled placard or license plate may park in either our main parking lot or the overflow lot across the street. Parking fees apply. SkyPark’s drop-off area, just to the left of the main entrance, can be used to pick up or drop off guests with disabilities.

Golden Ticket Program

The Golden Ticket Program accommodates guests with disabilities who may have difficulty waiting in lines for extended periods. It does not grant immediate access to every attraction: depending on the activity or ride, the guest may need to wait for the guests already participating to finish their turn.

  • The Golden Ticket must be used by the guest with the disability. Other members of the party may not use it to bypass the line without them.
  • Only the number of guests authorized by SkyPark and indicated on the Golden Ticket may accompany the guest on each activity or ride.
  • Guests with the Golden Ticket must be able to demonstrate a willingness to participate and the ability to comply with verbal or written instructions.
  • The Golden Ticket may not be used to bypass the reservation system at Santa’s House. Guests wishing to visit Santa during the holiday season may request a reservation time in advance on the Pre-Travel Survey. Priority access and Santa reservation times are not available on Saturdays during the Christmas season.
  • The Golden Ticket may not be used to bypass the lines at restaurants or shops. Dining peak hours are 12:00pm – 3:00pm; to reduce your wait, order before noon or after 3:00pm.
  • SkyPark staff may deny participation in an activity or ride to any guest if they believe it is unsafe based on the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Guests with autism

Complete the Pre-Travel Survey before your visit so that we may be better prepared to assist you. If you have any doubts about an attraction’s appropriateness for the individual with autism, have someone in your party experience it first. If you are separated from your party, contact any SkyPark employee for assistance. As an added safety measure, we recommend taking a photo of the members of your party on your phone — especially anyone who tends to wander — so we can reunite you quickly.

Caregiver Program

The Caregiver Program accommodates guests with disabilities who need support services — personal hygiene, eating, safe movement, medication management and the like — in order to take part in the park’s attractions. A Caregiver is a licensed professional whose attendance is required to enable the guest’s participation. Caregivers entering the park to provide support services may be granted admission at no additional charge. Limit one Caregiver per guest with a disability.

Dietary restrictions

SkyPark offers a variety of food options. Many of our products contain or may come into contact with common allergens including wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, fish or shellfish. If you follow a specific dietary regimen or have food allergies, please complete the Pre-Travel Survey. Dining peak hours are 12:00pm – 3:00pm; order before noon or after 3:00pm to reduce your wait.

Service animals

Service animals are permitted at SkyPark within ADA guidelines. Emotional support, therapy, comfort and companion animals, and animals in training, are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted. Service animals must be under control and display appropriate behavior at all times on our property.

  • Limit one service animal per guest, and the animal must have completed its training.
  • A service animal may accompany a person with a disability in all areas where the public is normally allowed, as long as it is safe to do so.
  • Service animals are not permitted on any mountain bike trail, and may be prohibited from some attractions for safety reasons.
  • If a service animal is out of control or aggressive and the handler does not take effective action, or if the animal is not housebroken, the guest may be asked to remove the animal from the premises.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs can be accommodated in all restaurants, gift shops and restrooms. The pathways in the main village are obstruction-free and easy to navigate, though some are on an incline, and because the park is outdoors, icy or wet conditions can exist depending on the weather. Wheelchair and stroller rentals are at The Last Stop Shop in the main admissions building. Rental wheelchairs are limited, so bring your own when possible or arrive early.
